MEMS timing without the quartz trade-offs
The MEMS resonator eliminates the startup reliability concerns of quartz — no activity dips, no frequency jumps on cold start.
Stability and supply range for the timing budget
For a 20 MHz clock, that is a maximum deviation of ±500 Hz — well within the capture range of a typical UART or CAN controller. The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so the same oscillator serves 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic domains without a separate regulator.
Housed in a 6-VDFN measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 6-pin footprint is common across the DSC2311 family — the same PCB land pattern accepts any dual-output frequency variant in the series. The disable current max of 23 mA is the power budget when the output is gated off.
