Dual-output MEMS oscillator — one device, two clock domains
The DSC2311KE2-R0016T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) that delivers two independent CMOS clock outputs from a single resonator: 24 MHz on output 1 and 50 MHz on output 2. That means one 6-VDFN package (2.50 mm × 2.00 mm footprint, 0.90 mm height) replaces two quartz cans — a direct BOM consolidation play for boards that need both frequencies.
Operating from 2.25 V to 3.6 V, the oscillator spans the common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator. For a 24 MHz MCU clock, that keeps the USB full-speed frame jitter well within the 0.25% bit-time budget.
