Product details

Dual-frequency MEMS oscillator for timing-tree consolidation

The DSC2311KE1-R0047 delivers two independent clock outputs from a single MEMS resonator: 12 MHz on output 1 and 25 MHz on output 2, both in CMOS logic levels. This eliminates a separate oscillator for each frequency, saving one component and one board location on a mixed-speed clock tree. The MEMS base resonator replaces a quartz crystal with a silicon resonator sealed in a 6-VDFN package measuring 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm — the same footprint as a standard crystal oscillator, so the PCB layout does not change.

Supply range, stability, and enable/disable control

Operates from 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering the common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator. The Enable/Disable function (pin-controlled) pulls the output to high-impedance when disabled, drawing up to 23 mA in the disabled state — useful for power-gating a peripheral clock during sleep modes.

Frequently asked questions

What are the output frequencies of the DSC2311KE1-R0047?

Output 1 is 12 MHz and output 2 is 25 MHz, both CMOS.

Does the DSC2311KE1-R0047 have an enable/disable function?

Yes, the part includes an Enable/Disable pin that places the output in high-impedance when disabled.
