Dual 125 MHz HCSL clock from a MEMS resonator
HCSL (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) is the standard output type for PCIe Gen1 through Gen4 reference clocks; the 125 MHz frequency matches the PCIe base clock rate, so this part drops into a typical clock buffer or fanout tree without a level translator.
The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering both 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails — a single BOM line serves mixed-voltage designs without an intermediate regulator.
Package and board layout notes
The 14-VFQFN with exposed pad (3.20 mm x 2.50 mm body, 0.90 mm height) needs a thermal via array under the package to pull heat into the ground plane — without it the junction temperature rises above the 105°C ambient limit under continuous operation.
