MEMS oscillator with dual HCSL outputs
The DSC2044FI2-F0012 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC2044 series, delivering two independent HCSL outputs at 100MHz and 125MHz — common reference clocks for PCIe Gen1/2/3 and 10GbE interfaces.
Supply range and frequency stability
Operates from a single 2.25V to 3.6V supply, covering 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator. Typical supply current is 60mA max with both outputs active; disabling the outputs drops consumption to 23mA max — useful for battery-backed systems that gate the clock during sleep.
Housed in a 14-VFQFN with exposed pad, measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a 0.90mm seated height.
