MEMS oscillator with five-frequency output set
The DSC2044FE1-F0024T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC2044 series, generating five common clock frequencies on one die: 50 MHz, 100 MHz, 125 MHz, 156.25 MHz, and 200 MHz on Output 1, with a secondary set on Output 2 including 10 MHz, 50 MHz, 100 MHz, 125 MHz, and 156.25 MHz. This multi-frequency capability means a single oscillator can serve a PCIe reference, a SerDes core, and a system clock without separate cans — a real BOM consolidation for a switch or router line card.
Supply and output compatibility
HCSL output (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) is the standard for PCIe and 100/1000BASE-T clock distribution; the 60 mA typical supply current covers the output swing into a 50-Ω terminated line.
Not extended to industrial or automotive ambient; if the board sits in an unventilated enclosure above 70°C, this part drifts outside its stability spec. Housed in a 14-VFQFN with exposed pad (3.20 mm x 2.50 mm, 0.90 mm height).
