Dual-frequency MEMS XO – 156.25 MHz and 25 MHz from one resonator
The DSC2042FI2-M0005 delivers two independent output frequencies—156.25 MHz on output 1 and 25 MHz on output 2—from a single MEMS resonator, saving a second oscillator footprint and the associated supply current. Output 1 is configurable as HCSL or LVPECL, covering PCIe reference-clock and SerDes PLL applications; output 2 provides a lower-speed clock for a management interface or auxiliary logic.
Wide supply range and disable function for power budgeting
Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails commonly found in networking and FPGA boards—no extra regulator needed for the oscillator rail. At 76 mA typ with both outputs active, the current draw is dominated by the 156.25 MHz HCSL driver—budget this into the 3.3 V rail capacity for the clock tree.
