Dual-frequency MEMS clock source
The DSC2033FL2-F0028 is a MEMS-based XO (standard) from Microchip's DSC2033 series, delivering two independent LVDS clock outputs: 150 MHz on output 1 and 200 MHz on output 2. The MEMS resonator gives this oscillator better shock and vibration immunity than a quartz crystal—useful in industrial motor drives or outdoor telecom gear where board-level mechanical stress is a concern.
Supply and output characteristics
Supply voltage range is 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering common 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without an external regulator—the same BOM rail can feed the oscillator and the downstream FPGA or ASIC. Maximum supply current is 38 mA typical when enabled, and drops to 23 mA when the output is disabled via the Enable/Disable function—useful for power-sequencing or sleep-mode savings in a battery-backed system.
