What this MEMS oscillator does on your board
It's a drop-in reference for FPGAs, SerDes, or Ethernet PHYs that need a clean differential clock without a quartz crystal's shock sensitivity.
It runs from a 2.25V to 3.6V rail — you can feed it from a 2.5V or 3.3V supply without an extra LDO. Typical current draw is 38 mA when enabled, and the disable function drops it to 23 mA max, handy for power-gated designs.
The small footprint leaves room for decoupling caps close to the supply pins — critical for keeping LVDS jitter low.
