MEMS oscillator with dual 25 MHz CMOS outputs
The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz-crystal startup and aging concerns — the frequency is set by the silicon structure, not a crystal blank. Outputs are CMOS-compatible with an Enable/Disable function, allowing the second clock to be gated off without a separate buffer or FET. The supply range spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an external regulator.
Military temperature range and package constraints
The 14-VFQFN exposed-pad package (3.20 mm x 2.50 mm, 0.90 mm height) requires a thermal via pattern under the pad to pull heat from the MEMS die — the datasheet's recommended land pattern should be followed closely. The 32 mA max supply current (23 mA when disabled) keeps the thermal load low in a sealed enclosure.
