Dual-output MEMS oscillator for multi-clock designs
The DSC2011FI5-E0008 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator that delivers two independent CMOS clock outputs from a single 14-VFQFN package — one output fixed at 20 MHz or 40 MHz, the second selectable from 80, 100, 120, 128, or 200 MHz. This dual-output architecture saves a second oscillator footprint and the associated PCB routing, useful when a system needs a low-frequency reference for a microcontroller or PHY alongside a higher-speed clock for a SerDes, FPGA, or memory interface.
Stability and supply tolerance
The supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails directly; no extra LDO is needed if the rail is within that window.
Housed in a 14-VFQFN with exposed pad measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm and a height of 0.90 mm, the package is low-profile and board-space efficient. Rework is straightforward with hot air — the pad is large enough to get good heat transfer, and the 0.50 mm pitch leads are visible for alignment.
