Dual-output MEMS oscillator replaces two cans
The DSC2011FE2-F0016T: This is a standard MEMS-based XO that generates two independent CMOS clock outputs from a single package: 25 MHz on output 1 and 50 MHz on output 2. That means one component does the job of two quartz oscillators, freeing up board space and cutting the BOM line count. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm across the -20°C to +70°C operating range — tight enough for 10/100 Ethernet PHY reference clocks and USB full-speed controllers without needing a separate TCXO.
Package and thermal layout note
The 14-VFQFN with exposed pad measures 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm and stands 0.90 mm off the board. Without the via array, the pad acts as a heat trap rather than a heatsink.
