MEMS oscillator with four selectable output frequencies
The DSC2010FI2-A0018T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC2010 series, delivering LVCMOS outputs at four factory-programmed frequencies: 25 MHz, 33.333 MHz, 50 MHz, and 66.666 MHz. The Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock without a separate buffer.
Industrial temperature grade and supply flexibility
The supply range spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering common 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without an external regulator. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm across the temperature range, tight enough for most Ethernet, USB, and serial-interface reference clocks without a separate TCXO.
Package, footprint, and current draw
Housed in a 14-VFQFN exposed-pad package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a 0.90 mm profile. The exposed pad requires a thermal via pattern under the package for heat sinking — the datasheet layout recommendation should be followed to keep junction temperature within limits. Maximum supply current is 35 mA when enabled; disabling the output via the Enable/Disable pin drops the current to 23 mA max, useful for power-sensitive designs that gate the clock in sleep modes.
