What this MEMS XO delivers for your clock tree
The DSC2010FI2-A0017T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip that outputs LVCMOS at three frequencies from a single device: 8.192 MHz, 22.5792 MHz, and 24.576 MHz. That triple-output saves one oscillator footprint and its associated supply decoupling — useful when a board needs a telecom frame clock (8.192 MHz), an audio sample rate master (22.5792 MHz), and a USB/ethernet reference (24.576 MHz) without adding a second can. For a 24.576 MHz clock, that is roughly ±614 Hz of total drift — tight enough for 100BASE-TX and I2S audio without a separate VCXO.
Supply range, enable, and current draw
Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without an external regulator.
Housed in a 14-VFQFN with exposed pad, 3.20 mm × 2.50 mm body, 0.90 mm height. The 0.50 mm pitch QFN demands a solder-paste stencil aperture that matches the pad dimensions; a 4-mil stencil is typical for this class.
