Product details

Quad-frequency MEMS oscillator for multi-clock BOM consolidation

The DSC2010FI2-A0003 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC2010 series that outputs four factory-programmed frequencies from a single device: 25 MHz, 75 MHz, 125 MHz, and 150 MHz. This lets one oscillator serve multiple clock domains — a microcontroller core, a USB interface, an Ethernet PHY, and a high-speed serial link — reducing the BOM from four separate quartz cans to one 14-VFQFN package.

Supply voltage and output control

The supply voltage range of 2.25 V to 3.6 V covers the common 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external regulator — the oscillator runs directly off the rail the FPGA or MCU bank uses.

The 14-VFQFN Exposed Pad package measures 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a 0.90 mm height.

Frequently asked questions

What frequencies does the DSC2010FI2-A0003 output?

Four LVCMOS outputs are factory-programmed: 25 MHz, 75 MHz, 125 MHz, and 150 MHz. All four are available simultaneously from the same package.

Does the DSC2010FI2-A0003 have an enable/disable function?

Yes, the Enable/Disable function allows the oscillator to be shut down when the clock domain is idle. The disable current is 23 mA max, versus 35 mA max when active.
