125 MHz MEMS clock source with HCSL output
The DSC1124DE1-125.0000T is a 125 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator from Microchip's DSC1124 series, delivering an HCSL output — the differential clock format required by PCIe reference clocks and many high-speed SerDes interfaces. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V rails without an external regulator. Maximum supply current is 42 mA when enabled; the disable function drops draw to 22 mA max, useful for power-sensitive designs that gate the clock during sleep modes.
Active lifecycle, no EOL concern
This part is suitable for both new designs and ongoing production replenishment. The MEMS resonator construction avoids the quartz supply constraints that occasionally affect crystal oscillators; the base resonator is MEMS, not quartz.
6-SMD no-lead footprint, tape-and-reel delivery
Packaged in a 6-SMD no-lead case measuring 2.50 mm x 2.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that fits tight board layouts without requiring via-in-pad. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), the standard format for automated pick-and-place assembly. The Enable/Disable function on pin 1 allows the oscillator to be tri-stated for board-level test.
