200 MHz HCSL clock with MEMS ruggedness
HCSL is the differential signalling standard for PCIe reference clocks — if your board has a PCIe root complex or switch, this oscillator drives the 100 MHz or 200 MHz reference directly without an external fan-out buffer.
Supply range and enable/disable
Runs from 2.25V to 3.6V, so it sits on either a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a separate regulator.
The DSC1124 series is the current-generation MEMS XO from Microchip; no successor has been announced.
6-SMD no-lead package, 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height. Surface-mount reflow profile follows JEDEC J-STD-020 for MSL 1 (moisture sensitivity level not explicitly stated, but typical for MEMS oscillators).
