The DSC1124BI5-148.5000: HCSL (High-Speed Current Steering Logic) drives differential lines directly with a 15 mA current source, so you skip the external termination resistors that LVDS or LVPECL would need.

The DSC1124BI2-148.5000 is a sibling in the same DSC1124 family with a different stability grade (±25 ppm vs ±10 ppm). The BI5 variant is a tighter-stability drop-in replacement — same package, same pinout, same 148.5 MHz HCSL output. If your design already tolerates ±25 ppm, the BI5 works with margin.
