156.25 MHz MEMS clock for PCIe and Ethernet
The DSC1124BI2-156.2500 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 156.25 MHz HCSL output — the exact frequency and signal type used as the reference clock for PCIe Gen1/2/3 and 10GbE SerDes PLLs.
Supply and output compatibility
The supply range is 2.25V to 3.6V, so it runs from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a separate regulator — one less part on the board. HCSL output is a differential current-mode logic family with a 0.7V typical swing — it drives a 50-Ω terminated pair directly, no external bias resistors needed.
The MEMS resonator means no quartz supply-chain constraints — the part is less sensitive to the crystal shortages that periodically hit the market.
