HCSL swings 0.7 Vpp typical into a 50-Ω termination to ground, so the receiving device's input buffer must be HCSL-compatible or accept a DC-coupled translation.
Supply range and temperature envelope
Operates from 2.25 V to 3.6 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails without an external LDO — the Enable/Disable pin pulls the output to high-Z and drops supply current from 42 mA max to 22 mA max, useful for power-sequenced or gated clock trees. Not qualified for -40°C industrial or automotive environments — a DSC11xx family member with extended temp range would be needed for outdoor or under-hood deployment.
6-SMD no-lead package and board fit
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max — a standard MEMS oscillator footprint that is pin-compatible with many quartz XO footprints of the same size. The enable/disable function is on pin 1; confirm the logic level (active-high or active-low) from the datasheet before layout.
