Operates from 2.25 V to 3.63 V, covering the 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic rails common in automotive and industrial designs without an external LDO. For a 100 MHz LVDS clock feeding a SerDes or FPGA, that stability keeps the bit-time jitter within the receiver PLL tracking range.
Housed in a 6-pad 2.50 mm × 2.00 mm no-lead SMD package (0.90 mm seated height). The small footprint frees board space near the processor or PHY, but the 0.50 mm pad pitch means the escape routing under the part is tight — a 4-layer stack-up with microvias or buried vias is the cleanest fan-out for the LVDS pair. Supplied on tape and reel, compatible with standard pick-and-place and reflow profiles for lead-free assembly.
The DSC1123 series is Microchip's mainstream automotive MEMS oscillator family, so production is expected to continue through the typical automotive program lifecycle.
