100 MHz LVDS clock with MEMS reliability
The DSC1123CL5-100.0000T is a 100 MHz LVDS oscillator from Microchip's DSC1123 family, built on a MEMS resonator rather than a quartz crystal. That MEMS base gives it better resistance to shock and vibration compared to a traditional quartz XO, and the LVDS output keeps the signal clean over a short PCB trace to a SerDes, FPGA, or Ethernet PHY. The Enable/Disable function lets you gate the output for system power sequencing or test modes.
Automotive temperature grade and package
The 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm no-lead package with a 0.90 mm seated height fits tight PCB layouts in automotive ECU and camera modules. Frequency stability is ±10 ppm, tight enough for most 100 MHz LVDS links without needing a temperature-compensated oscillator. Maximum supply current is 32 mA when enabled, dropping to 22 mA in disable mode.
Active production – sourcing posture
It is available for both new designs and production replenishment.
