Enable/disable and supply rail flexibility
That 10 mA saving per clock tree matters on a battery-backed ECU or sensor module that spends most of its life asleep. Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.63 V, covering 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails common in automotive mixed-signal designs. No separate LDO needed for the oscillator — it runs directly off the same rail as the CAN transceiver or the MCU I/O bank.
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 0.197" x 0.126" footprint is the same as a standard 5x3.2 mm quartz oscillator — the MEMS die sits in the same land pattern, so a board laid out for a quartz XO accepts this part without a layout spin. Surface-mount reflow profile follows standard lead-free solder profiles. No special handling beyond MSL level 1 — the MEMS cavity is sealed at wafer level, so moisture sensitivity is not a concern.
