148 MHz LVDS clock for industrial signal chains
LVDS signalling keeps the 148 MHz clock edge clean over short PCB traces — the differential pair rejects common-mode noise that would corrupt a single-ended clock at this speed.
Supply flexibility and stability budget
Runs on any rail from 2.25 V to 3.63 V — a single oscillator serves both 2.5 V and 3.3 V clock domains without a level translator. Frequency stability is held to ±10 ppm, which includes variation over temperature, supply, and aging — tight enough for a 148 MHz serial link without re-centring the PLL.
MEMS reliability vs quartz in harsh environments
The MEMS base resonator replaces a quartz crystal — no mechanical shock sensitivity, no crystal aging drift, and no start-up reliability issues in high-vibration or thermal-cycling applications.
Product status is Active — no EOL notice, no NRND flag. The DSC1123 series is in ongoing production, so new designs and BOM replenishment face no immediate obsolescence risk. Availability confirmed at RFQ.
6-SMD package — layout and assembly note
6-SMD, no-lead exposed pad (7.00 mm x 5.00 mm footprint, 0.90 mm seated height). Surface-mount on standard FR-4 with no special reflow profile beyond the usual lead-free solder process.
