150 MHz LVDS clock source with MEMS reliability
The DSC1123AL1-150.0000T is a 150 MHz LVDS oscillator from Microchip's DSC1123 series, built on a MEMS resonator rather than a quartz crystal. The MEMS base gives it better shock and vibration tolerance than a traditional crystal oscillator, and it starts up faster — useful if the downstream FPGA or SerDes has a tight lock-time budget. The LVDS output pairs directly with differential clock inputs on most Gigabit Ethernet PHYs, FPGAs, and high-speed ADCs without external termination resistors.
Frequency stability is ±50 ppm across the full temperature and voltage range — tight enough for a 1000BASE-T clock reference.
Microchip lists the DSC1123AL1-150.0000T as Active. The Enable/Disable function lets the system shut down the oscillator output — useful for power-sensitive designs that gate the clock when the downstream device is idle.
