120 MHz LVDS clock for automotive-grade timing
The LVDS output provides low-jitter differential signaling for high-speed serial interfaces such as PCIe, Gigabit Ethernet, and SerDes in automotive ECUs. The 2.25V to 3.63V supply voltage allows it to run from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an extra LDO.
AEC-Q100 qualification and Enable/Disable function
This is the standard for under-hood and chassis-domain electronics where the oscillator must survive engine vibration and thermal cycling. This is useful for power-sensitive modules that gate the clock during sleep modes.
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. Supplied in tube. For volume production, confirm reel availability with your Microchip sales contact or through your distributor — the DSC1123 series is also offered in tape-and-reel under alternate order codes.
Product status is Active, meaning Microchip continues to manufacture and support this order code. For new designs, the DSC1123 series is a current product family. No stock-holding claim is made; the part is procured per order.
