148.5 MHz LVDS clock for video and serial links
This DSC1123AE1-148.5000T is a MEMS-based XO delivering a 148.5 MHz LVDS output — a standard frequency for broadcast video (1080p/3G-SDI) and high-speed serial interfaces like GigE Vision or PCIe reference clocks. The LVDS differential pair gives clean edge rates into 100-ohm terminated traces, reducing jitter compared to a single-ended CMOS oscillator at this frequency. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.63V, so it runs directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without a local LDO.
Active production — no quartz lead-time risk
The MEMS resonator is sourced from Microchip's internal fab, not a quartz blank supplier, so the part avoids the extended lead times that quartz oscillators have seen in recent shortages.
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead Exposed Pad package measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm.
