156.25 MHz LVPECL clock for high-speed interfaces
The DSC1122CI2-156.2500T is a MEMS-based XO (standard oscillator) delivering a 156.25 MHz LVPECL output — a common reference frequency for 10GbE, Fibre Channel, and PCIe Gen 3/4 SerDes PLLs.
Supply voltage tolerance and enable/disable control
Operates from 2.25 V to 3.6 V — a single rail that covers 2.5 V and 3.3 V logic families without an external regulator. That 22 mA floor is the MEMS oscillator core still running; for a true zero-power state, the supply rail must be switched externally.
6-SMD footprint and layout considerations
Packaged in a 6-SMD, no-lead ceramic package measuring 3.20 mm × 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The 0.126" × 0.098" footprint is the same as a standard 3.2×2.5 mm quartz oscillator — a drop-in replacement for existing layouts. The LVPECL output requires 50 Ω termination to VCC - 2 V at the receiver; route the differential pair with controlled impedance and keep the trace length under 0.5" to avoid reflections at 156.25 MHz.
