156.25 MHz LVPECL clock from a MEMS resonator
The DSC1122CI1-156.2500TA is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 156.25 MHz LVPECL output — a common reference frequency for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and FPGA transceiver clocking. The MEMS resonator eliminates the quartz-crystal start-up time and vibration sensitivity trade-offs, so the oscillator is ready within microseconds of power-up and holds frequency through moderate mechanical shock.
Supply voltage range and power budget
Operates from 2.25 V to 3.6 V — the wide supply tolerance lets it share a 3.3 V or 2.5 V rail without a dedicated LDO, simplifying the power tree.
Housed in a 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm 6-SMD no-lead package (0.90 mm seated height) — the compact footprint fits dense PCB layouts, but the no-lead terminations require a solder-paste stencil with a 0.20 mm aperture for reliable fillet formation.
