125 MHz LVPECL clock source with MEMS resonator
The DSC1122AI5-125.0000: This is a 125 MHz standard oscillator (XO) from Microchip's DSC1122 family, built around a MEMS resonator instead of a quartz crystal. The LVPECL output delivers the fast edge rates and low jitter needed for high-speed SERDES, FPGA reference clocks, and 10G Ethernet PHY timing. The enable/disable function lets the system gate the clock for power savings — disable current drops to 22 mA max from the 58 mA max active draw.
Frequency stability is held to ±10 ppm across the full temperature range, which keeps the clock edge within tight timing margins for a 125 MHz LVPECL link. The MEMS resonator is inherently more shock- and vibration-tolerant than a quartz crystal — relevant for equipment that ships on a truck or lives near a compressor.
Active lifecycle and sourcing
This is a current-production part suitable for both new designs and ongoing production. Sourced through independent distribution; quoted to order against the BOM quantity.
