155.52 MHz LVPECL MEMS oscillator for high-speed clock trees
The DSC1122AI2-155.5200T is a MEMS-based XO delivering a 155.52 MHz LVPECL output — a common reference frequency for 10GbE, Fibre Channel, and SONET/SDH line cards. The LVPECL differential pair drives 50-ohm terminated traces directly, saving a fanout buffer in the clock distribution path. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, so the same BOM line works across 2.5V and 3.3V clock domains without a rail-specific variant.
Microchip lists the DSC1122AI2-155.5200T as Active.
MEMS resonator vs quartz — what changes on the board
That means no startup-time uncertainty at cold — the oscillator reaches rated frequency within microseconds of power-up. The 6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package is the same 7.0 mm × 5.0 mm footprint used by many quartz oscillators, so a layout designed for a standard 7×5 mm XO accepts this part without a board spin.
