MEMS clock source with LVPECL output for industrial timing
Unlike quartz oscillators, the MEMS resonator offers better shock and vibration immunity and a faster startup time — useful for applications that cycle power frequently or see mechanical stress. The wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V means it can run from a 3.3V or 2.5V rail without an extra regulator, simplifying the power tree.
LVPECL is a differential output standard that provides low jitter and fast edge rates, making it a common choice for clocking high-speed ADCs, FPGAs, or SERDES interfaces at 25 MHz. The 58 mA max supply current is typical for an LVPECL oscillator at this frequency — the differential output pair draws constant current regardless of load, so the power budget is predictable.
Housed in a 6-SMD package with exposed pad, measuring 7.00mm x 5.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm. Supplied in tube — for pick-and-place, confirm the tube orientation matches the feeder; reel options may be available under alternate order codes in the DSC1122 family.
