Active production – 156.25 MHz LVPECL clock source
The DSC1122AE2-156.2500T is an active-production MEMS-based XO from Microchip's DSC1122 series, delivering a 156.25 MHz LVPECL output with ±25 ppm frequency stability across -20°C to 70°C. LVPECL at 156.25 MHz is a common reference for high-speed serial transceivers — the differential pair needs proper termination to ground through a Thevenin network, not a simple pull-up.
The wide supply range of 2.25V to 3.6V covers both 2.5V and 3.3V rails — no external regulator needed when moving between common FPGA and ASIC core voltages.
Package and footprint for 7.0 x 5.0 mm layout
The package measures 7.00 mm x 5.00 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a standard footprint shared with many 7x5 oscillators, so the PCB land pattern is well established.
