MEMS oscillator for 156.25 MHz LVPECL clock trees
The DSC1122AE2-156.2500 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1122 series, delivering a 156.25 MHz LVPECL output with ±25 ppm frequency stability across its -20°C to 70°C operating range. LVPECL is the typical interface for high-speed SerDes, 10G Ethernet, and FPGA reference clocks — the 156.25 MHz frequency is a common multiple for 10GBASE-R and CPRI line rates.
Supply range, enable/disable, and power budget
Operates from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail, drawing 58 mA max when enabled and 22 mA max when disabled — the enable/disable function allows the oscillator to be gated off for system power savings without removing the supply.
