25 MHz LVPECL MEMS oscillator — active, wide-rail, ±50 ppm
The MEMS base gives it faster start-up, better shock and vibration tolerance, and no crystal aging drift over time. Supply voltage spans 2.25 V to 3.6 V, so the same part number serves 2.5 V and 3.3 V clock domains without a separate LDO.
LVPECL output — termination and AC-coupling notes
LVPECL is a differential current-mode logic standard that requires a 50 Ω to VCC–2 V termination at the receiver. The 25 MHz fundamental frequency is well within the LVPECL edge-rate capability, but the DC bias must be set correctly — typically a Thévenin-equivalent divider or a dedicated termination resistor network. AC-coupling with a 0.1 µF cap in each leg is common when the receiver has its own bias network.
Package and layout — 7.0×5.0 mm, 6-SMD, exposed pad
The 6-SMD no-lead exposed pad package measures 7.0 mm × 5.0 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max. The 0.50 mm pad pitch on the 6-lead layout is straightforward for two-layer boards.
Listed as Active by Microchip. The DSC1122 series is the standard product; no pin-compatible successor has been announced.
