25 MHz clock for harsh environments
The DSC1121NM1-025.0000 is a 25 MHz MEMS-based oscillator in a 6-SMD no-lead package (7.0×5.0×0.9 mm). That temperature span covers military avionics, downhole drilling tools, and under-hood automotive ECUs — places where a quartz crystal would fracture under shock or drift beyond ±50 ppm over temperature. The MEMS resonator survives 50,000 g shock and high vibration, making this oscillator a fit for drivetrain-mounted modules, engine bay ECUs, and satellite payloads where a quartz can fails.
Enable/Disable pin for power gating
Active current draw is 35 mA max; disabling the output drops it to 22 mA max — a 37 % reduction that matters in battery-backed or always-on automotive modules. The pin logic is active-high enable (typical for this series) — tie the pin high or leave floating for normal operation; pull low to stop the output and reduce supply current.
Lifecycle and sourcing through independent distribution
The DSC1121 series includes other 25 MHz variants with different stability or temperature grades; verify the BOM position before substituting.
