MEMS oscillator with AEC-Q100 for harsh environments
The DSC1121DM2-003.3333 is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a fixed 3.3333 MHz CMOS output with enable/disable function.
Supply voltage and frequency stability
Operates from 2.25V to 3.6V, covering 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator. The ±25 ppm frequency stability holds across the full temperature and voltage range, so a 3.3333 MHz serial clock stays within 83 Hz of nominal at 125°C — tight enough for most UART and CAN transceiver timing.
Package, footprint, and board mounting
Housed in a 6-SMD, no-lead package measuring 2.50mm x 2.00mm with a seated height of 0.90mm. The 6-pad land pattern fits a standard 2.0 x 2.5 mm oscillator footprint — no via-in-pad required, but the small pad area means a solder stencil with 0.12 mm thickness and 1:1 aperture-to-pad ratio is recommended for consistent fillet formation.
