MEMS oscillator for harsh-environment timing
The DSC1121CM1-100.0000 is a 100 MHz MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a CMOS output with ±50 ppm frequency stability across the full -55°C to +125°C military temperature range.
Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V — one part covers both 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator, and the wide tolerance absorbs rail ripple from a switching converter. Maximum supply current is 22 mA at 100 MHz — a light load for a 3.3V rail, leaving headroom for the rest of the clock tree.
Housed in a 6-SMD, no-lead package measuring 3.20mm x 2.50mm with a seated height of 0.90mm — the small footprint frees board space, but the no-lead terminations require a hot-air rework station; a standard soldering iron won't reach the pads under the body.
No minimum order restriction — small quantities and prototype volumes are accommodated at RFQ.
