The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range lets this oscillator run from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an extra LDO — useful when the same BOM entry must serve multiple voltage domains across a product family. The disable current is still non-trivial — plan a load switch if the oscillator must be powered down to single-digit microamps during system sleep.
Package, footprint, and layout considerations
The 6-SMD, no-lead package measures 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. This is a standard 3.2 x 2.5 mm oscillator footprint — the same land pattern used by many quartz and MEMS XOs — so a layout designed for a SiTime or Epson part of the same size accepts this DSC1121 without a board spin.
