What this 51.84 MHz MEMS oscillator is for
That 51.84 MHz frequency is a common reference for 1000BASE-T Ethernet, video pixel clocks, and FPGA transceiver PLLs – not a general-purpose MCU clock. The Enable/Disable function lets the system shut down the oscillator without removing supply, dropping the disable current to 22 mA max from the 35 mA max active draw.
AEC-Q100 qualification and temperature grade
Rated AEC-Q100, this oscillator is qualified for automotive stress conditions – temperature cycling, ESD, and latch-up per the AEC-Q100 test flow. Frequency stability is held to ±25 ppm over that temperature range, tight enough for a 1000BASE-T clock without a separate VCXO.
This part is suitable for new designs and production ramps.
