MEMS oscillator at 25 MHz — quartz alternative
The DSC1121CI1-025.0000T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) from Microchip's DSC1121 series, delivering a 25 MHz CMOS output from a 6-VDFN package. The MEMS resonator replaces the quartz crystal — no load-capacitance matching, no start-up margin to calculate, and no crystal aging drift to budget.
Supply range and enable/disable function
Operating from 2.25V to 3.6V, the oscillator spans 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate regulator. The Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock — pulling the enable pin low drops supply current from 35 mA max to 22 mA max, useful for power-sensitive designs that shut down unused peripherals.
Active lifecycle — design-in ready
Microchip lists the DSC1121CI1-025.0000T as Active.
