MEMS oscillator at 25 MHz — what the supply range buys you
The MEMS resonator eliminates quartz crystal aging and startup reliability concerns — the part starts up without the crystal's load-capacitance tuning or activity dips. Supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering both 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without a separate LDO.
Package, footprint, and enable/disable function
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead package measuring 3.20 mm x 2.50 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm — a compact footprint that matches industry-standard 3.2 x 2.5 mm oscillator land patterns. The disable current is still relatively high compared to a dedicated enable pin on a quartz oscillator — budget the 22 mA standby draw if the disable function is used for long idle periods.
Temperature grade and frequency stability
The ±50 ppm holdover covers the full temperature range without external compensation; for a 25 MHz reference clock, that translates to a maximum frequency error of ±1250 Hz over temperature.
Microchip lists the DSC1121CE1-025.0000T as Active.
