Supply voltage range and enable/disable function
The wide supply voltage range of 2.25V to 3.6V allows direct connection to 2.5V or 3.3V rails without an intermediate regulator, simplifying the power distribution network. Maximum supply current is 22 mA, which is typical for a 24.576 MHz CMOS output at 3.6V; the actual draw depends on load capacitance and frequency.
Package and mounting for board design
Housed in a 6-SMD, no-lead package measuring 5.00mm x 3.20mm with a seated height of 0.90mm, this oscillator is a drop-in replacement for standard 5.0 x 3.2 mm XO footprints. Surface-mount assembly on standard FR-4 is straightforward; the no-lead package requires a solder-paste stencil with a 0.15–0.18 mm thickness for reliable fillet formation.
