MEMS oscillator for harsh-environment timing
The DSC1121BM1-014.7456: The MEMS resonator provides inherent shock and vibration tolerance, a reliability advantage over quartz in high-g environments such as engine-mounted electronics or launch vehicles.
Supply voltage and output drive
The supply voltage range of 2.25 V to 3.6 V covers 2.5 V and 3.3 V rails without a separate regulator, simplifying the power tree in mixed-voltage designs. Maximum supply current is 35 mA when enabled and 22 mA when disabled via the Enable/Disable function — the disable mode cuts power consumption by over a third, useful for power-gated or battery-backed sections.
The 6-VDFN package measures 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm max — a low-profile, surface-mount footprint that fits under shielding cans or in tight card-edge clearance. The Enable/Disable pin lets the oscillator be gated by a GPIO or power-management IC, pulling the output to high-impedance without removing the supply rail.
