8 MHz MEMS XO for harsh-environment timing
The DSC1121BM1-008.0000T is a Microchip MEMS-based XO delivering a 8 MHz CMOS clock from a 2.25V to 3.6V supply rail — it runs directly off a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an intermediate LDO, simplifying the power tree. That span covers avionics cold-soak, downhole tool heat, and engine-bay ambient where a standard -40°C to 85°C part would drift out of spec or stop oscillating. AEC-Q100 qualification means the device has passed the reliability stress and PPAP requirements for automotive deployment — under-hood or cabin-domain ECUs can use it without a separate qual run.
Supply voltage and output compatibility
With a 2.25V–3.6V supply range and CMOS output, this oscillator interfaces directly with 2.5V and 3.3V logic families — no level translation needed on the clock line.
Housed in a 6-SMD no-lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm. The no-lead construction means the terminations are flush with the package body — the PCB footprint must match the land pattern exactly; there are no protruding leads to absorb board flex.
