80 MHz MEMS clock source for industrial timing
Unlike quartz-based oscillators, the MEMS resonator is inherently more resistant to shock and vibration, making it a strong fit for motor drives, outdoor telecom, and factory-floor equipment where mechanical stress is a concern.
Supply voltage and output drive
The wide supply range of 2.25V to 3.6V lets this oscillator operate directly from 2.5V or 3.3V rails without an intermediate regulator, simplifying the power tree in mixed-voltage designs. CMOS output drives standard logic families directly; the Enable/Disable function allows the output to be tri-stated, pulling the supply current from 35 mA typical down to 22 mA max when the clock is gated off.
Package and footprint for PCB layout
Housed in a 6-SMD, No Lead package measuring 5.00 mm x 3.20 mm with a seated height of 0.90 mm, this is a standard 5.0 x 3.2 mm oscillator footprint — the same land pattern used by many quartz oscillators, easing a drop-in replacement.
No end-of-life notification or successor has been announced.
