On the repair bench that changes the failure signature: MEMS oscillators don't crack from vibration the way quartz does, but they are more sensitive to supply ripple — the internal PLL can jitter if the 2.25–3.6 V rail is noisy. If a board with this part shows clock jitter, check the decoupling cap first, not the oscillator itself.
The DSC1121 series is still in volume production, so you can commit the BOM line without worrying about a sudden obsolescence notice next quarter.
