The DSC1121BI2-016.3840T is a MEMS-based XO (Standard) oscillator delivering a 16.384 MHz CMOS output — a common reference frequency for 10/100 Ethernet PHYs, CAN controllers, and UART clocking. The 2.25V to 3.6V supply range means it can run from a 2.5V or 3.3V rail without an extra regulator, simplifying the power tree.
The MEMS resonator base inherently resists shock and offers faster startup than a quartz crystal — no load-capacitance matching or negative-resistance margin calculation needed.
