16.384 MHz MEMS clock — what it replaces and where it fits
The DSC1121BI2-016.3840 is a 16.384 MHz MEMS-based oscillator (XO) with a CMOS output, designed as a drop-in replacement for quartz-based oscillators in the same 6-SMD, No Lead footprint (5.00mm x 3.20mm).
Supply range, temperature grade, and output drive
The supply voltage spans 2.25V to 3.6V, covering common 2.5V and 3.3V logic rails without an external regulator — one less component on the BOM. It suits outdoor base stations, factory-floor controllers, and under-hood electronics where the ambient can climb well above room temperature. The CMOS output swings rail-to-rail and can drive up to 22 mA max into the load — enough to feed multiple clock inputs on a small PCB without a separate buffer.
