12 MHz MEMS oscillator for industrial timing
The DSC1121BI2-012.0000T: Its 2.25V to 3.6V supply range lets it run directly off a 3.3V or 2.5V rail without an intermediate LDO, simplifying the power tree on a mixed-voltage board.
MEMS resonator advantage over quartz
Built on a MEMS resonator rather than a quartz crystal, this oscillator withstands higher shock and vibration levels — a practical benefit for motor drives, outdoor telecom enclosures, and factory-floor equipment where quartz crystals can suffer frequency shifts or start-up failures. The Enable/Disable function lets the system gate the clock output without cycling the supply; when disabled the oscillator draws 22 mA max, versus 35 mA max when running.
